The creative landscape of Kerala—encompassing cinema, television, audio-visual production, and allied contemporary arts—is celebrated globally for its artistic excellence and cultural impact. However, behind the glamour and creative milestones lies a systemic vulnerability: the lack of structural financial security for its workforce.

Since a vast majority of technicians, artists, musicians, editors, and digital creators operate as freelancers or project-based contractual workers, they face irregular income cycles, unpredictable 'dry periods,' and a complete absence of institutional credit scoring. Traditional banking systems routinely disqualify creative professionals due to the lack of fixed monthly pay slips or conventional collateral.

Mission Dravya is a landmark initiative institutionalized by the Kerala Film & Audio Visual Cooperative Society to permanently bridge this economic gap. It is an ecosystem engineered specifically for the creative community, delivering customized investment schemes, structured micro-chitty plans, and flexible credit facilities to guarantee financial dignity, professional sustainability, and long-term economic independence.
